I’m not sure where my skin obsession started…

Maybe it was because I struggled with terrible acne in college? And no, it was not just like a little breakout, it was like really bad cystic acne.

I remember being SO insecure, I would wear a hat and if the right side of my face was worse then the left side I would angle myself when I talked to people. Looking back now, I realize no one cared as much as I did, but I believe that’s where my DEEP love for flawless glowing skin was birthed.

Since I did not have it, I learned to create it.

Which is why I want to share my FAVE foundations with you!

OILY SKIN

1. Too Faced - Born This Way Foundation

I love this because it wears ALL day long, there are over 35 shades and it is oil-free. It doesn’t feel heavy. You can actually wear this if you are dry or combo too, but lately this has been my go-to! It covers well but looks like your natural skin.

2. Estee Lauder - Double Wear Foundation

OH MY GOODNESS! This is the BEST coverage and lasts 24 hours. It is a strong matte finish and doesn’t feel heavy. If you are looking for full coverage, look no further!

3. BOBBI BROWN - Skin Longer Weightless Foundation

This is a 16 hour matte finish. It is light enough to wear all day and I found that it looks like my natural skin. It is a matte finish. I really love Bobbi because I have yellow and olive under tones, and I feel like Bobbi offers a beautiful variety of colors for dark skin shades as well as light!

4. Giorgio Armani - Luminous Silk Foundation

I am OBSESSED! If you are looking for a foundation to make your skin glow… this is stunning!!!! It is absolutely gorgeous and you can still see your skin through this.

5. La Mer - Soft Fluid Foundation

This is extremely pricey. BUT if you are going to indulge, not only does this give you a beautiful glow, there are actual healing properties to help with hydration and nourish your skin with vitamins. I ALWAYS wear this one when I’m on vacation because it wears well in humidity.
